
and why? Because I had to.
I was walking in the store checking how and where to put some marketing bullshit, when I realized that a guy was checking out my wonderful beautiful blablablaful shoes:)(cough*hidden*advertising*cough)
I looked around for my sales staff and tadaaa there was a guy. Lets call him Stano ( Ehm it is his real name:)) so sue me:)) He was standing and leaning on a stander with shoes, watching the guy - our potential buyer!
And for almost 5 minutes Stano was leaning and looking really "approachable"(look on his face was: come close and I will bite, sincerely, I will!) and our potential buyer was watching the shoes and looking around for someone.
When the buyer decided to leave I sprang into action and started my well trained( 2x4 months in States did its job :)) direct marketing skills.
Well in the beginning he wanted a different shoe, in the end he was truly convinced he NEEDS my shoe:)
And what happened with out employee of the month? After 2 minutes, he deduced I had the situation under control and went for lunch.
I really feel warmly about my sales team. Maybe not ;)
